Our most merciful and loving Father, we want to take this time to thank you for the blessings that you have given us all through the life of Papa Joe. Lord, he was and is a good and faithful servant who let Your love shine through him, onto all he met.
We ask you Lord; please comfort us in this time of sorrow and pain, and help us see that Papa Joe is now in a place that we can only wish to be, in Your presence and wrapped in Your Loving Arms. As Paul the Apostle wrote, “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” Lord, thank you for this amazing promise.
Please Lord, hold us close, wipe our tears, and comfort us all. We pray this in the name of Your Son, and our loving Sheppard and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
